Whether it’s Yoyogi, Ueno or Harajuku, you are bound to find a Rockabilly group during your trip to Tokyo. They have been around since the 80’s, though they are now slowly dying away with only a few groups left to admire.
Letting loose and dancing away to old school rock and roll, you can still find these groups in front of Yoyogi park, in Ueno park or peppered around Harajuku.
Before this iconic Tokyo fashion style completely disappears, I suggest you take the time to find them and appreciate the time and effort they make to present ultimate 50’s style and admire the high slicked hair that’s just plain awesome.
